Arrival, meeting at Pescara airport, transfer to accommodation.

Welcome drink with Italian coffee, then free time in the afternoon for a visit to the beach of San Vito Marina.

Dinner in local restaurant, ice cream and a walk over the harbor, overnight stay in b & b.



In the morning a guided walk along the "Costa dei Trabocchi", visit to the medieval church of San Giovanni in Venere,

visiting fishermen in their harbor and shopping at local producers on the coast.

Lunch at typical restaurant.

Back to the agriturismo and free afternoon.

In the evening a masterclass 'Cucina tipica di pesce' and dinner.



In the morning a guided excursion to the charming town of Lanciano, with Roman excavations, squares, churches and a special burg, and shopping in the center. 

13.00 Lunch with Aperitivo italiano in a typical Italian bar.

Back to the agriturismo and free afternoon.

In the evening 'Pasta masterclass' and dinner. 


 Saturday: 11.00 transfer to the airport of Pescara.

"I've chosen April and May to bring my Dutch guets to visit the Trabocchi Coast in Abruzzo, because spring is my favorite season, the trees are blooming, the jasmine enchants with its parfume and the blue of the sky blends with the sea that becomes smooth as oil.


It's a 4-day trip, where we go to discovery the territory, to live emotions with beautiful landscapes, delicious typical dishes, savoring the slow life style and the warm welcome of the locals.


We visit archaeological sites from the Roman age in the city of Lanciano, the beautiful church of San Giovanni in Venere overlooking the Mediterranean in the town of Fossacesia, the D'Annunzio Hermitage in San Vito, a terrace with a gash on the coast over the Trabocchi, were the local poet got inspired for his poems.


We go shopping together in local markets, getting the ingredients for our cooking classes, and between the markets we go for our "caffe' espresso", standing at the bar counter to drink our coffee or try an aperitif.


We find out what a Trabocco is and how it works, visiting the fisherman bay of Vallevo' when they come back in the morning with fresh fish caught with an ancient sistem with nets.


And then we pick lemons and for our recipes from the trees of our B&B, the same fruits that are used for the jams served for breakfast along with homemade bread and oil from their own production.


Then there are those moments of relaxation, when we enjoy the sun on the beach, and those magical clear evenings where after dinner we count the stars from the terrace of the B&B."
